For the Twitter, former heavyweight title challenger Antônio “Pezão” Silva called Thiago for a reckoning. Asked about the subject at the press conference that followed the event, Silva was not intimidated by the provocation.

“I fight at light heavyweight. If he wants to fight me, he has to come down. I'm available. I have nothing against him, we already trained together, it could be because I left the (gym) American Top Team. If you want to fight, go down to 205 (pounds). That’s all.”, said Silva.

Pezão's message that started the controversy was published in Twitter during the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, this Saturday (8). “Thiago (Silva) weighs 105 kg, he is a heavyweight and has to lose weight. We have a debt to resolve, he could accept a fight with me at heavyweight”, challenged Antônio Silva.
