Hardly beaten by the Englishman in a historic boxing trilogy, the heavyweight recognized his rival's merits and opened up about the fight for the world title.

“I learned that sometimes we need to lose to win. Even though I wanted to win, I enjoyed seeing that the fans won even more. I proved that I am a true warrior and a king in sport. We've proven that no matter how hard you get hit, you can bounce back and fight for what you believe in,” said Wilder, in an excerpt released by 'The Mac Life'.

Finally, recognition. After denying Fury a handshake while still in the ring after suffering a tough knockout, the former champion backed down.

“Last but not least, congratulations to Tyson Fury for your victory and thank you for historic memories that will last forever”, he concluded.
