Challenged several times by Carlos Boi, Andrei Arlovski accepted the request, but doesn't want to hear a lot of 'idle talk'. The veteran declared that he doesn't care about the Brazilian's provocations and promised to teach him a lesson in the fight scheduled for the UFC Las Vegas next Saturday (16).

“I don’t care (about provocations) anymore. I'm not 25 unfortunately. I don't care what they're saying, whether it's professional or not. I just know I did great camp. My coaches have done their homework and I'm ready to fight. I'll teach you a lesson inside the octagon. It's either that or I could lose this fight,” said Arlovski on 'half day' of the show.
At 42 years of age, the 'Pitbull' declared that he still has a few years of his career ahead of him and rejected the idea of retiring now.
“I just found out that I believe I'm the third most-fought person in UFC history. Listen, I'm still young. I have many years of career ahead of me. At least until I'm 45 I think I'll be fine. We will see. Maybe 46”, concluded the veteran.
A professional since 1999, Arlovski is a former UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) and one of the athletes with the most victories in the organization's history. The veteran has an MMA record of 31 wins and 20 setbacks.
