Defeated in the split decision, the Amapá native used social media to vent after the new stumble. Visibly moved, the athlete narrated his feelings at the moment.

“Unfortunately, the victory didn’t come today. Things don't always go the way we want them to. I'm not used to defeat. I’m not well, I’m not happy”, said the athlete, in Instagram.
Disappointed with the negative result, Felipe promised not to give up on his focus and dream in Ultimate. Representative of the roosters (up to 61,2kg.), the Amapá native guaranteed to evolve even further to, thus, resume the trajectory towards the top of the category.
“I gave my best. That's the most important thing for me. I went to the end. Rest assured that I will come back stronger, dedicate myself to the maximum, to correct all the mistakes made in this fight. Evolution is constant. I want to be champion of the biggest event in the world. For that to happen, this defeat will have to serve as a great learning experience. The loss to Gutierrez prevented Cabocão from achieving two consecutive victories for the first time in the UFC. Now, the fighter has three setbacks in five commitments with the organization's gloves.
