Former UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg), junior gypsy had a special participation in pro-wrestling last Wednesday (6). For the event'AEW Dynamite', the Brazilian performed in a team duel, between American Top Team (with the fighting couple paige vanzant e Austin vanderford) and the main members of 'All Elite Wrestling's'.

In his first appearance, Cigano – who entered alongside his partners ATT – showed good moments. Still adapting to the sport, the Bahian was outside the ring and entered after attacking one of the fighters on the squad. On top, with his 'rival' bewildered, he mounted and threw some elbows.

Released by the UFC in March this year, Junior Gypsy has not performed in mixed martial arts since December 2020, when he was knocked out by the interim champion, Cyryl Gane.
