With two rematches in the title fights, Ultimate releases official UFC 268 poster

One of the most anticipated cards of 2021 finally had its official poster revealed. O UFC 268 will take place on November 6th and will be hosted at Madison Square Garden in New York (USA). In the two main fights, Kamaru Usman e Rose namajunas will put their belts on the line against Colby covington and Weilli Zhang, respectively.

In the main fight, a rematch valid for the welterweight belt (under 77,1kg). Reprising the fight that took place in December 2019, the champion Kamaru Usman will be challenged by the controversial loudmouth Colby covington. In the first clash, the Nigerian knocked out the North American in the fifth round after a tight duel that was considered one of the best fights of that year.

Another duel that will happen for the second time will be in the co-main fight of the night. In her first defense in the new reign of the strawweight divisions (up to 52,2kg), the champion Rose namajunas will measure forces again against the former champion Weili Zhang. In the first duel between the two athletes, in April of this year, the North American knocked out the Asian fighter in the first round and regained the category title.

In an important duel for the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), the numbers two and four in the ranking Justin gaethje e Michael chandler they will fight for a likely title shot for the winner. When he steps into the Octagon, Gaethje will have completed more than a year of inactivity. His last confrontation was against the former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2020. On the other side, Chandler is also coming off a defeat; 'Iron' was knocked out by the Brazilian charles do brox, in May, in the dispute for the vacant category title.
