The second most important fight in UFC Las Vegas 38 this Saturday (2) ended with a controversy. In a duel at middleweight (up to 83,9kg.), Kevin holland suffered an 'involuntary headbutt' and was subsequently finished by Kyle Daukaus with a rear naked choke in the first round. The duel, however, was analyzed by the judges and ended without result.

It is the first 'no result' fight between the athletes. Holland now has a record of 21 victories, seven setbacks and one 'no contest', while Daukaus has ten positive results, two negative results and, now, one fight without result.
The fight
In the first round, Holland and Daukaus were exchanging blows at close range, with a slight advantage for Kyle. In one of the moments, however, Kevin tried to enter with a blow and the heads collided, involuntarily.
The fight continued, with Kyle Daukaus on top and trying to knock him out, moving to the back and submitting Kevin holland by a rear naked choke. The replay was analyzed by the side judges and the fight referee, Herb Dean, who reached a consensus on the 'no contest'.
