The gaze between Thiago Marreta e Johnny Walker one day before the brazuca clash in UFC Las Vegas 38 increased expectations about what could happen this Saturday (2). Face to face for the last time before exchanging forces in the main fight of the show, there was 'ugly faces', irony, but the moment ended with a hug between the compatriots.

In the images (see below), it is possible to observe Johnny Walker focused. The athlete from Belfort Roxo (RJ) frowned and approached his opponent, initially creating a tense look.

Quiet, Thiago Marreta He used good humor to deal with the situation. Former challenger for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg), the fighter joked and pretended to tremble in fear at his compatriot's action.

The tense atmosphere, however, was short-lived. After meeting eye to eye, the athletes smiled and ended the look with a hug.

The main stars of this weekend's show, the Brazilians are looking for victory to get closer to a future title fight. While Walker is aiming for a significant leap towards the top 5, Thiago wants to erase the three consecutive defeats in his recent record.
