Brothers working for the same organization is nothing new in the world of MMA. However, the presence of family members on the same card is rare. And that's exactly what lightweight Patricky “Pitbull” Freire wants, who showed interest in performing at Bellator 97 – an event for which his brother Patrício is already scheduled.
“I think me and him on the same card would do Bellator a big favor. It would be something big for the event and a great show. I even heard that the people at the channel that broadcast the event in Brazil are willing to talk to Bellator,” Patricky told the website MMA Junkie.

Bellator 97 is scheduled to take place on July 31st, in Albuquerque (USA). So far, four fights have been confirmed for the event: Michael chandler vs. David Rickels (for the lightweight title), Ben Askren vs. Andrei Koreshkov (for the welterweight title), Douglas lima vs. Ben Saunders and Patrício “Pitbull” Freire vs. Robert Emerson.
