Outside of UFC 267, Aljamain Sterling names favorite in the interim belt fight

Still recovering from neck surgery, the bantamweight champion gave his opinion on the provisional title of the category and stated that he will soon be back

Out of UFC 267 as he is not yet 100% recovered from the surgery performed on his neck, aljamain sterling gave his opinion on the dispute for the interim bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg). On his 'Instagram', the division champion believes that Cory Sandhagen will hit Petr yan on October 30th and stated that it is not 'finished' yet.

Without Sterling on the card that will be held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the UFC decided to create a fight for the division's interim belt. To face Petr yan, the organization chose the North American Cory Sandhagen. The show will be held on October 30th and its main fight will be a duel for the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg) between Jan Blachowicz e Glover Teixeira.
