According to the report, police officers responded to a 'Domestic Disturbance' call at Caesars Palace, a famous hotel and casino in Las Vegas. When they arrived at the scene, an 'adult and white' girl identified as Jessie Moses was bleeding from her nose and mouth. Shortly thereafter, the woman was recognized as Jones' fiancée.

Officers found Jon soon after, outside the hotel. Officers reported that Jones resisted arrest and acted strangely after authorities arrived.

“While Jones was being detained, he became irate and struck his head on the front hood of the (Las Vegas Patrol) patrol vehicle, leaving a medium-sized dent, as well as removing some of the paint on the vehicle,” police wrote in the report. .

Such attitude is considered a crime in the state of Nevada. Jones' fiancée claimed that they had an argument, that the fighter went out with some friends and after a few hours, returned to the hotel room. Asked if she had been attacked by Jon, she replied 'a little yes'.

Moses alleged that Jones 'touched the back of his head and pulled my hair a little, but he didn't hit me or anything.' Bones' fiancée said he allegedly grabbed her by the hair because she was "trying to leave the room."

Police stated that blood was found 'around his lips, chin and all over his hoodie' along with a swollen lower lip. Officers claimed Jessie appeared to be 'afraid to talk about Jones'. The former champion's fiancée refused to request a protection order against the fighter.

The officers' report stated that Jones 'burst into tears' upon being informed of his arrest and that after the crying fit, he calmed down. Jon reportedly told cops that he and his fiancée were going through personal problems and that there was a 'little tension' between them.

The former light heavyweight leader reportedly joked with the police about the possibility of escaping from handcuffs, but was informed that if he tried to escape, he could be shot at. After the threat, Jones apologized to the officers and did not attempt any further acts of rebellion.

This is the fifth time that Jones has been involved in legal trouble. About ten years ago, in 2012, he was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The following year, he was also involved in another controversy, having been accused of fleeing a location after running over a pregnant woman.

Previously, in 2020, the American was arrested on charges of negligent use of a firearm and, in the same year, he was also linked to an accusation of sexual harassment by a waitress, in Albuquerque (USA).
