Tyron Woodley keeps his word, pays bet and gets unusual tattoo with Jake Paul's name

Former UFC welterweight champion tattooed 'I love Jake Paul' on his middle finger as agreed before the fight in which he lost by judges' decision

Promised and fulfilled. As part of publicity for its fight against Jake Paul, Tyron woodley He made an agreement with the YouTuber so that whoever lost the duel would have his opponent's name tattooed. About a month after losing the judges' split decision, the former welterweight champion (up to 77kg) paid the bet and published the 'tribute' made on the lower part of his left middle finger.

Woodley promised that he would fulfill the agreement after losing, as long as there was a rematch between the athletes. The second fight, however, does not seem to be close to being closed, as the athlete himself once again challenged and provoked Paul.

Tyron decided to venture into boxing after a bad phase in mixed martial arts, where he had a negative series of four defeats. In Ultimate, he made history by reigning in the welterweight category between 2016 and 2019, but he hasn't had the same success in the 'noble art' until now.

Jake, in turn, became popular on YouTube and even worked as an actor before transitioning to boxing. Currently, the North American has attracted attention by winning his fights – he is undefeated in four appearances, with Ben Askren and Tyron woodley as victims. His next step in the sport has not yet been announced.
