Out of MMA due to recovering from a serious injury to his left ankle, Conor McGregor continues to show his face outside the octagon. After participating in the prestigious VMA, it was the Irishman's turn to play baseball – and it didn't work out very well. Invited to make the 'opening pitch' in the match between the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins, the 'Notorious' did not show any intimacy with the ball and starred in a scene that was beyond comical.

In the images (see below), Conor appears in a suit and without the aid of the cane, seen with the fighter in recent weeks. The former double UFC champion even acted like a player, but when he threw the ball, he ended up isolating the ball, causing some embarrassment.
Embarrassment aside, McGregor continues to recover for his return to MMA. In July, the fighter ended up going through the most dramatic moment of his professional career, when he fractured his ankle in the trilogy against Dustin poirier.
Two months after the incident, the Irishman continues to improve his situation. Willing to get back to the good phase of his career, it is possible that the legend will return to the octagon next season. The athlete, however, still does not have a scheduled date or opponent.
It's the way the mascot looks back at him in shock for me lol. pic.twitter.com/Gb5dX7k09t
