Expectations were high, but the debut of Yoel romero in Bellator it didn't go the way the Cuban expected. Tension marked the beginning of the fight. Davis took the initiative with combinations of jabs. However, the North American was very afraid of the Cuban's dangerous overhand. In the second round, Yoel managed to scare his rival, but at the end of the round Phil managed to take him down. He did it again in the last round and took the fight in the decision.
