Bellator President praises 'Phil Davis x Yoel Romero' and talks about the Cuban's future

After Romero's primary mistake, Scott Coker admits giving the veteran a five-round fight

“Phil (Davis) had a great performance. He's an incredible fighter, he fought an intelligent fight and he's still very dangerous. I loved the fight. I think it was a great fight and I'll tell you: He (Yoel romero) will be back. It's a return after a long time and we're going to give him another fight. I believe he is ready for another fight,” said Coker.

Scott even talked about the knockout power of Yoel romero. For him, the Cuban deserves a 'second chance' and can continue to cause harm to other athletes in the organization.

“Anyone you know who poses a great danger can be given a second chance. Let's give this guy another training, another big fight and he'll continue throwing bombs at other people. He is a dangerous individual. You know that he can be a blow to everything if it ends”, concluded the agent.

At 44 years old, Yoel is experiencing an irregular moment in his career and debuted in Bellator with a defeat. Now, there are four consecutive setbacks and, in addition, the Cuban hasn't won since February 2018, when he knocked out Luke Rockhold.
