Last Sunday (12), Conor McGregor increased his list of controversies and dislikes by getting involved in a mess with musician Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet at the VMAs, a music award held by MTV.

Initially, it was believed that the confusion had started because Machine Gun Kelly refused to take a photo with Conor McGregor. The two reportedly got into a strange situation, leading one of the singer's security guards to push the former UFC champion, spilling his drink.
According to Billy Bush, host of the Extra program, the real reason for the incident was the fact that Conor McGregor send private messages to Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly's girlfriend, on social media. The report is in line with the fighter's statement after the confusion, in which he stated that he knew nothing about the singer, only that he is the actress's boyfriend.
“I don't even know the guy, to be honest. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s dating Megan Fox,” said McGregor after the confusion.
This is not the first time that Conor McGregor gets involved in controversies related to messages on social networks. Before and after the fight against Dustin poirier, UFC 264In July, the Irishman accused his rival's wife of sending him message requests on Instagram.
