Defeated by Vitor Belfort, Evander Holyfield criticizes the referee's interruption

The boxing legend did not agree with the referee's decision and called the attitude 'bad and hasty'

Knocked out quickly by Vitor belfort on 'Triller Fight Club' last Saturday (11), Evander Holyfield criticized the referee's interruption. The legend of the noble art called the decision 'bad and hasty' and said that he suffered no major damage. The statement was given in an interview after the show.

“I didn't get hurt. The point is that there wasn't any blow that hurt me badly. He's strong, he hit me and I was off balance, but I think it was a bad decision. I don’t think the referee should stop the fight so quickly,” said Evander.

The American emphasized that he was not injured during the fight and acknowledged his sadness after the defeat.

“No, I’m not hurt. It's kind of sad, but it is what it is,” Holyfield said.
