Confident for the duel against Derick Brunson in UFC Las Vegas 36 next Saturday (4), Darren till believes he is prepared to emerge victorious. The English athlete showed optimism for the confrontation and stated that he is a better fighter than his next opponent's last opponents. The statement was given in the 'half day' of the show.

“He’s been beating these guys up, but I’m going to keep saying that. This is no disrespect to anyone, but I'm not one Kevin holland and I am no (Edmen) Shahbazyan. I'm going to be a different animal when I get there on Saturday. I have fight IQ, I'm getting fiercer with age and it seems like he's getting better too. So, I'm ready for Saturday friend. I've done all my work, I've done a lot sparring, so I’m ready for whatever comes,” said Till.

Current number seven in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9kg), Darren is looking to get back on the path to victory. In his last fight, in July 2020, the Englishman was defeated by the former champion Robert whittaker. The 'Gorilla' has a record in the sport of 18 positive results, three negatives and one draw.
