Wellington Turman has two points removed, but beats Sam Alvey and eases the situation in the UFC

The confrontation against Turman marked 'all or nothing' for Alvey, who is going through a terrible time in the organization. Pressured for a positive result, the veteran entered the Octagon with a record of six fights without a win.

During three rounds, Sam showed resistance, but the fighter's courage was not enough to convince two of the judges. After 15 minutes, the Brazilian was declared the winner in a split decision.

With the new defeat, Alvey reached the seventh challenge without having his arm raised at the end of a duel. The American's last triumph took place in June 2018, more than three years ago.
