Welterweight champion since 2019 and collector of victims in recent years, Kamaru Usman is one of the UFC's biggest names in its recent history. In the fight to be considered the biggest name in the division, the athlete needs to prove a little more, according to Khabib Nurmagomedov. In an interview with 'RTSport', the 'Eagle' gave his opinion on what is needed for the Nigerian to take the lead alone.

“(If Usman beats Covington in November), it will be difficult to say. It will be, if he defends the belt three more times,” said Nurmagomedov.
Since wearing the welterweight title, Usman has shown progress with each appearance for the company. So far, there have been four belt defenses, with three knockouts and one victory on points.
When you overcame Jorge masvidal in his last challenge, Kamaru touched Anderson Silva as the athlete with the longest winning streak in the company. Currently, the Nigerian has 14, and could soon surpass 'Spider', who has 16.
At welterweight, the current champion has already made history. Today, the fighter holds the record for the highest number of positive results in the under-77kg category.
At a great moment in his career, Usman, who has only one negative result in MMA, divides opinions on whether or not he is the biggest name in the group. The fighter is at the top of the greatest alongside Georges St-Pierre.
