“I'm representing MMA and the 'old guard' for real. Not the older guys, but the ones who really represent something (in the sport). This has been going on for a long time and they have the 'wounds of war' to prove it. That's what I stand for,” Woodley said during an interview with 'MMA Hour'.

Despite his debut in boxing, Tyron sees the fight as much more than just an 'easy fight' against the youtuber. Since, for him, the intention is to put on a show and send a message that the world of fantasies does not exist in combat sports.

“They will love this presentation, with my victory. I didn't believe and I don't believe in Disney things, nor did I victimize myself or make a plot. He already has a lot of pressure on him. I’m going to try to go there, set an example and put an end to this”, concluded the North American.

At 39 years old, Woodley has experienced ups and downs in his career in mixed martial arts. The North American, who became UFC welterweight champion (up to 77kg) by winning Robbie Lawler, went on to defend the title on four occasions. Still, he lost the belt to the current champion, Kamaru Usman, and had three other defeats (to Durinho, Covington and Luque) before being released from his contract with the organization.
