After an excellent debut at UFC Vegas 34 last Saturday (21), Josiane Nunes talked about the difficulties encountered during its preparation. The Brazilian stated that she was ready to deal with the largest scale of Bea Malecki and admitted that, after suffering a knee injury, he thought about giving up the fight. The statement was given in an interview after the show.

“I was expecting an impressive fight and that's what happened. We trained a lot to face her height. I had been training a long time for this moment, so it wasn't something I was dreading. I did everything I had trained for and it worked”, said the Brazilian fighter.
The Tupiniquim athlete talked about the serious knee injury she had during preparation and stated that she seriously thought about giving up the fight.
“I had a very serious knee injury and was thinking about giving up. I had no money and it was very difficult to continue training. But I didn’t give up, and now I’m here”, said Josiane.
Professional since 2013, Josi has seven wins and only one defeat on his record. Born in Paraná, the bantamweight fighter (up to 61,2kg) showed good credentials in her debut in the biggest organization in the world.
