Mark Madsen minimizes scoring controversy and praises Clay Guida after victory at UFC Vegas 34

Faced with controversy over his victory against Clay guida in the judges' decision, Mark madsen spoke at the press conference after the UFC Las Vegas 34. The Danish fighter did not want to comment on the result of last Saturday (21), declaring that he just did his best in the octagon and praised Clay guida.

“To be honest, I don't know anything about how they scored or scored in the fight. It doesn't matter. Hearing my name (in victory) was a huge relief, as I really put all my heart and soul into preparing for the fight. I went there, I felt ready and I did my best. He is a legend of the sport and I am very happy for that”, declared Madsen.

Even in the face of controversy over the result, the Danish fighter praised his opponent and valued his triumph.

“Tonight, I achieved a very important victory, in an incredible fight. There was still something I would like to show a little more, but Clay (Guida) is an incredible fighter and I am very grateful for the opportunity to step into the octagon with a true legend”, concluded the Olympic medalist.

Undefeated in MMA, Madsen now has a record of 11 victories in his career. In three fights with UFC gloves, the European fighter defeated Danillo Belluardo, Austin Hubbard e Clay guidarespectively.
