On the main card of UFC Las Vegas 34, he measures forces against Alexandre pantoja and, despite saying he is confident, the athlete makes a point of praising the Brazilian before the fight.

“He has a desire to fight, you know? He always has his game built to be able to knockout or submit. I think this makes him strong and will end up being his downfall in combat. (…), everything he does ends up worrying me, because he doesn’t do anything lightly. It's intense and I don't think he's seen a jab or anything other than 'lights out,'” Royval said in an interview on 'half day'.
Sixth in the division's ranking, Royval tries to get back on the winning path soon after being surpassed by Brandon Moreno, in November 2020. At that time, the Mexican qualified to face Deiveson Figueiredo for the first time. Now, the North American has a record of 12 triumphs and five setbacks.
Alexandre pantoja, in turn, won Manel kape in his last performance, which took place in February 2021. The Brazilian, in fact, has a record of 23 positive results and five negative results in his career.
