If there is a protagonist on this Thursday's PFL card (19), her name is Kayla harrison. Two-time Olympic champion in judo, the undefeated North American in professional MMA is also seeking her second PFL championship after winning the $1 million prize in the 2019 tournament. To do so, however, she will have to get past Genah Fabian in the semifinals of the current lightweight tournament (up to 70,3 kg).

Despite being aware of his “zebra” status in this Thursday's duel, Genah Fabian is completely convinced that he can surprise and emerge with victory and a place in the grand final. In an interview with the North American website MMAFighting.com, the fighter stated that she believes that Kayla harrison will maintain the strategy of the last fights, but can be defeated.
“Look, Kayla hasn't been beaten in her fights, so why would she change her strategy? With the confidence she has, she has managed to defeat every girl she has faced so far. She never needed to change her strategy or her fighting style. But I know that I have the style and definitely the physique and all the factors, the athleticism and the intelligence to finish her off. I’m going to do my job”, said Fabian.
With a huge height advantage, which became clear during the face-off after the event's official weigh-in, Genah Fabian believes she has the skills necessary to defeat any fighter, including the undefeated fighter Kayla harrison.
“I'm not here to mince words, I'll be there to rip her head off and vice versa. My time has come and I will be able to do this. All of her achievements are admirable, it's not personal. I don't know her, I don't have feelings for her. I certainly respect her as a competitor, but I’m going in there to finish her off,” he concluded.
Genah Fabian and Kayla harrison face each other in one of the semifinals of the PFL lightweight tournament, this Thursday. In the other key, the Brazilian Mariana morais faces Taylor Guardado. The event also features the heavyweight semi-finals, with the presence of the Brazilian Bruno Cappelozza, who faces off against Jamelle Jones.
