Wallid calls Moreno a 'coward', demands a trilogy from Deiveson and points out a crucial error in the defeat of the man from Pará

'God of War' manager questions the 'goodness' of the Mexican, who dethroned the Brazilian at UFC 263

The Mexican, however, is in the sights of Deiveson Figueiredo and his manager, Wallid Ismail, who continue to demand an immediate rematch against the group's former leader, dethroned in June. In an exclusive interview with SUPER FIGHTS, the agent harshly criticized the stance of the belt owner, who has avoided a reunion with the man from Pará.

“For me, the Brandon Moreno He's not a nice guy. That's why I don't like these guys who want to be cool in MMA. He's showing that he's a bum, courage. When Deiveson kept the belt (in December 2020), he got the rematch right away. Now, is Brando saying that he (Figueiredo) doesn't deserve it? Who is this man? I hate 'fake good' fighters. He is very lazy. That’s what he’s showing,” said Ismail.

Considered one of the biggest names in the recent history of the flyweights, Deiveson had a performance below expectations in the meeting with Moreno, in June of this season. On that occasion, the man from Pará was unable to repeat the performances that took him to the absolute top of the group, in 2020. Former fighter and responsible for managing the career of the 'God of War', Wallid spoke about what went wrong for the former champion at the UFC 263.

“My analysis is that Deiveson was not focused. He had opened the gym, full of problems. Merit to Brandon. (…) Focused and determined, no one beats Deiveson”, he concluded.

PUBLICITY:

The setback for Moreno marked Figueiredo's second stumble in 23 commitments as a professional in MMA. Today, the native of Pará is number one in the ranking, behind only the Mexican.
