Raush Manfio defeats Clay Collard and secures a place in the PFL lightweight GP final

Brazilian beats North American in a unanimous decision by the judges and faces Loik Radzhabov, in search of the US$ 1 million prize

In a rematch that took place in April this year in the initial phase of the tournament, the Tajikistani 'gave revenge', defeated Alexander Martinez in a unanimous decision by the judges and is closer to the dream prize of US$ 1 million (around R$ 5,2 .XNUMX million). The fight opened the main card of the seventh edition of the PFL.

Radzhabov started the duel by closing the distance and landed two blows on Martinez. The Tajikistani continued to impose his pace at the fence and also managed to be superior with combinations of jabs and straight strikes. On the other hand, the Paraguayan has already had to deal with a cut on his face.

Despite starting at a loss, Alexander Martinez returned to the second round willing to change history and cornered Loik Radhabov. At one point, the Paraguayan even put the fight to the ground, but was unsuccessful in progressing. The Tajikistani, however, managed to get out of position, applied the takedown and narrowly missed out on a rear-naked choke.

Wanting to guarantee his qualification for the grand final, Radzhabov attacked with a takedown and got out of a guillotine choke. Soon after, the fighter managed to move, resisted Martinez's grip and won the judges' unanimous decision.

With the result, Radzhabov reaches the tournament final for the second time. In 2019, he also managed to be in the big decision, but lost to the Brazilian Natan schulte. He now has a record of 15 triumphs, three setbacks and one draw in his career.

Martinez, on the other hand, says goodbye to the GP in the playoffs. The Paraguayan suffered his second defeat in his career – also the second in a row. He also has eight victories and one fight without result.
