Sean Strickland surpasses Uriah Hall on points and scores fourth straight middleweight victory

O UFC Las Vegas 33, an event held this Saturday (31), featured in its main fight the fight between Sean Strickland e Uriah Hall. The North American, who came close to knocking out, prevailed after 25 minutes in a unanimous decision from the judges (50-44, 50-45, 49-46). The clash was valid for the middleweight category (up to 83,9kg), which has Israel adesanya as champion.

Hall, who became popularly known with the nickname 'Ambulance Man', is unable to achieve the victory that could propel him to the top of the category. He has broken his streak of four victories and now has a record of 17 positive results and nine negative results.

THE FIGHT

The first round was already busy between the combatants, who exchanged jabs at close range. Sean Strickland tried to corner Uriah Hall on the grid and was the owner of the main actions with combinations of straights and crosses. The Jamaican connected with a low kick and made the North American feel it. Still under pressure, Strickland still had time to continue with short-range strikes, while Hall's game was based on the counterattack.
