On the eve of the biggest challenge of his career to date, Sean Strickland rejected the pressure to fight against Uriah Hall No. UFC Las Vegas 33, which will be held this Saturday (21), in Nevada, in the United States. At the 'half day' of the event, he analyzed his opponent as a 'gatekeeper' to take an important step towards the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.).

“The cool thing about Uriah is he’s like a gatekeeper. He's a great doorman. He's a guy you beat and that pushes him one or two (wins) away from a title shot. It’s a really interesting thing to think that it’s within my reach,” Strickland said.
On a streak of four wins in a row, Sean has the opportunity to fight in Ultimate for the first time in his career in the organization. He, however, doesn't seem to care about this fact and, according to the fighter, it will only be worth it if he wins.
“It’s something that people try to make special, but it’s just another day. Just one more fight. It will be special if I win. If I get knocked out, I'll look back and say: Shit, that sucks”, concluded the fighter.
Number 11 of the middleweights (up to 83,9kg.), Sean Strickland he could win a place in the top-10 if he wins the duel against Hall. The fighter has a record of 23 triumphs and three setbacks.
