Current protagonists in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg) aljamain sterling e Petr yan gave their opinions on the return of TJ Dillashaw to the octagon. Through their social networks, the two fighters praised the former category champion and also showed a lot of respect for the veteran.

With the rivalry between them 'at the surface', aljamain sterling e Petr yan they are close to having a second opportunity to share the octagon. On the first occasion, in March of this year, the two athletes faced each other in the UFC 259. The fight ended controversially after the Russian illegally kneed the American fighter, which caused Yan to be disqualified and Sterling to win the belt.
According to the 'MMA Fighting' website, the rematch is close to being confirmed for the UFC 267 scheduled for October 30th on Ilha da Luta. The event will also feature a fight for the light heavyweight belt (up to 83,9kg) between Jan Blachowicz e Glover Teixeira.
