Amid controversies about the result, Raulian Paiva celebrates 'war' and says he agrees with the judges

Brazilian was the winner in the majority decision of the judges, in a duel against Kyler Phillips

The controversies surrounding the result of the duel between Raulian paiva e Kyler Phillips in the second most important fight of the UFC Las Vegas 32 this Saturday (24) does not seem to have an impact on the Brazilian. In a post-event press conference, he highlighted that he agreed with the judges' score and celebrated 'war' in the fight that was awarded 'Fight of the Night'.

“My team and I didn’t agree with the 10-8 in the first round, because I reacted. Even though I was knocked down, I reacted and showed service. My team was confident (of victory). We know it was a war, but (in the end) everything worked out”, said the Brazilian.

Asked about his next step in the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg), Raulian reveals that he would like to return to fighting as soon as possible, but he has no names in mind.

“I'm going to rest, but if I didn't have an injury I would already go back to the gym to train and I would like to fight as quickly as possible. This is my routine – training – and I like it. I don't have any name. Whatever the UFC gives me, that’s my job and I’ll be willing to fight”, concluded the fighter.

With the victory in the majority decision of the judges, Raulian paiva should enter the Ultimate rankings. The Brazilian fighter now has three consecutive victories.
