Willing to stay active, Gilbert Durinho demands responses from Edwards, Diaz and Masvidal for challenges made

With no real chance of fighting for the title at the moment, Brazilian 'machine gun league' and complains about 'silence' from possible opponents

With no real chance of an immediate title shot, Gilbert Durinho He doesn't care about just waiting for a new opportunity. After overcoming Stephen Thompson No. UFC 264, the Brazilian challenged a series of welterweight highlights (up to 77kg.) and received no response from his rivals. Willing to remain active, the native of Niteroi 'turned on the machine gun' and demanded a position from his potential opponents.

One of those mentioned by Durinho was the current number three in the category, Leon edwards. Looking for a direct confrontation against one of the favorites for a title fight, the Brazilian 'poked'.

With no answers, the Brazilian changed his target and went for the last title challenger.

“It seems like he (Edwards) doesn’t want any trouble. I don't blame him. Good luck waiting. Let’s see if Jorge (Masvidal) wants (a fight),” he published.

After giving up on Leon, Gilbert then addressed his next message to Masvidal. After beating Thompson on the 10th, Durinho challenged the American in the interview while still in the Octagon.

"And there, Jorge masvidal. What are you going to do in October or November?”, he insisted.

Finally, Gilbert tried his last 'card'. The Brazilian questioned Nate diaz, which was recently defeated by Leon edwards, returning to MMA after more than a year of inactivity.

“At what feet are you, Nate diaz, talking all that nonsense? Say something now,” she signed off.

Challenging for the category belt in February, Gilbert is looking for a new opportunity to fight for the category belt. In his first chance, the Brazilian scared the current champion, Kamaru Usman, but ended up being knocked out by the Nigerian.

In the confrontation against Thompson, Durinho managed to recover from the negative result at the beginning of the season. Now, with a new victory on his record, the Niteroi native remains in second place in the category, behind only Colby covington and the champion.
