Michael Chandler says he has 'no doubt' that Justin Gaethje will be his next opponent

In a broadcast on your'Instagram', the veteran stated that he has already asked Ultimate 'more than 100 times' to face Justin gaethje but indicated that the 'The Highlight' should be the next person with whom you will measure forces.

“Gaethje should be next. There's no doubt about that. I'll tell you what: I've asked for Justin's name no less than 100 times since signing with the organization. He was asked to fight me three or four different times and he refused every time. He and I are close to each other. Justin hasn't fought since October last year. He needs to fight if he wants to challenge for the title again. For some reason, he and his team have no interest in fighting me,” Chandler accused.

In his last fight, in UFC 262, Michael chandler competed for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg) and was knocked out by the Brazilian charles do brox in the second round. Hired by Ultimate at the beginning of 2021, the American has one victory and one defeat in the organization. The fighter also has a record of 22 triumphs and six setbacks in his professional MMA career.
