After experiencing the most tragic night of his career in UFC 264, Conor McGregor continues trying to explain the inexplicable. Protagonist of the show last weekend, the Irishman reinforced that he was injured before the fracture that determined his defeat to Dustin poirier in Las Vegas. In your account on Twitter, 'Notório' released a series of images that contribute to the suspicion of an ankle injury days before the confrontation.

In one of the images, professionals monitored what can be understood as a resonance of the bone structure of McGregor's ankle. The fighter even this week stated that UFC representatives, including the main doctor, knew about his condition.

The confrontation against Poirier marked the possible end of a trilogy between the athletes. After the new knockout over the Irishman – the second in 2021 – Dustin has the advantage, with two positive results to one.
