Anderson Silva is scheduled to defend the middleweight belt against Chris Weidman in the main fight of UFC 162, an event that is scheduled to take place on July 6th in Las Vegas, in the United States. Facing a challenger 10 years younger, the Brazilian guarantees that the age difference will not be a problem in the duel.
“He is almost 10 years younger than me, but he must be respected. He is leading the fight in a healthy way and we will have an excellent fight”, revealed Anderson, during the launch of an advertising campaign.
The MMA fighter also mentioned that he should fight for another five years, but did not want to say anything about signing a ten-fight contract with Ultimate. “If I can fit all these fights into five years it will be great, otherwise I will be indebted to the UFC fans”, concludes Spider.
