The new victory of Dustin poirier about Conor McGregor didn't like it Colby covington. Keeping an eye on the main fight of UFC 264, which had a tragic outcome with the Irishman's injury, 'Chaos' minimized the achievement of his former teammate American Top Team (ATT). “I think Dustin 'Fool' Poirier's true character was presented last night. He was there 'having fun' in front of Conor. Obviously it was luck, man. Conor broke his leg. (…) It wasn’t a knockout, there wasn’t a clean result, there was no submission. They were teasing in front of the fallen guy, when the same guy did everything for Dustin, giving him these big fights”, said Covington, in an interview with 'Fanatics View'.

Last weekend, Poirier and McGregor shared the Octagon for the second time this season. Seeking to recover from the defeat suffered in January, the Irishman ended up experiencing the worst moment of his professional MMA career.

Although he left the field of combat with a technical knockout on his record, Conor started the duel differently than the last clash. More aggressive, the 'Notório' tried to settle the bill in the opening seconds. Experienced, Poirier knew how to control his actions and, after some attacks from the Irishman, punished his rival until the final seconds of the first stage, when the injury occurred.
