Dana White says the duel between Sean O'Malley and Kris Moutinho should have been stopped in the second round

The agent admitted his astonishment at the 'beating' given by 'Sugar' and declared that the referee let the fight go on for longer than he should have.

Sean O'Malley's run over Kris moutinho No. UFC 264 last Saturday (10), even impressed the organization's president Dana White. The agent declared that the fight should have been stopped in the second round and spoke about his concern for the debutant after suffering such a beating. The statement was given in an interview after the show.

“I think the fight could have been stopped three minutes earlier... He (the referee) could have stopped it in the second round. This fight could and should have been stopped at any time. I have no problem with this strike,” said Dana.

The concern for the debutant fighter was so great that he was immediately taken to the hospital as soon as the fight ended.

“This guy took a serious punishment. We sent him straight to the hospital, without stopping, without talking, without anything. Straight to the hospital”, concluded the agent.
