Dustin Poirier reacts to McGregor's kick attempt in a face-off: 'I'm going to kick for real on Saturday'

Poirier revealed that, when trying to kick him, Conor McGregor ended up kneeing UFC president, Dana White

The press conference for the main fight of the UFC 264, held last Thursday night (8), was hot. During the fighters' traditional face-off at the end of the event, Conor McGregor he even tried to kick Dustin poirier, but it didn't shake the North American.

In an interview with North American ESPN, Poirier stated that he found McGregor's attempt “cute” and revealed that the kick ended up hitting Dana White, the president of the UFC, who was trying to separate the rivals.

“Dana told me she was kneed in the stomach. McGregor's kick hit him. I thought it was cute, man, have fun. I’m going to really kick it on Saturday,” Dustin said.

Poirier also revealed that it was good to see McGregor in person and that he believes the Irishman did not prepare as well as he should for the third fight between them.

“I knew he would do crazy things and talk nonsense, but seeing him in the flesh did me good. He's just that little guy, he's not the guy I used to see anymore. I believe he did himself a disservice. He didn’t try to find out what went wrong in the last fight, that’s what losers should do”, concluded Poirier.
