Dana White responds to criticism about the salaries paid by Ultimate to fighters

With constant complaints from athletes about the remuneration paid by the organization, the agent defended himself against the complaints on UFC 264's media day

Upset with the constant criticism about the salaries paid by Ultimate, Dana White defended himself. On the media day of the UFC 264 next Saturday (10), the president stated that the fighters' scholarships have risen every year and declared that anyone who is not satisfied can leave and found their own organization.

“Wrestlers’ pay has been steadily rising every year since we’ve owned the business. Some of the sponsors we bring in spend tons of money on the fighters too. There are many opportunities here for them. And listen: there's never going to be a guy who's coming out and saying, 'Yeah, they're paying me a lot. They are paying me too much’. Furthermore, all these guys who are champions participate in the revenue of the pay-per-view“, Dana defended.

Clearly irritated by the recurring criticism, the agent emphasized that this is the company's policy and left the 'doors open' for anyone who is not satisfied.

“Listen, if you don't like it, go start your own MMA league and pay them whatever you want. This is mine and this is how we are doing it”, concluded the ‘boss’.
