Belfort is eight kilos shy of weight for the fight against Rockhold

There is just over a month to go before the clash against Luke Rockhold, scheduled for May 18th, Vitor belfort publicly showed that he is eight kilos away from weight for the UFC's main fight in Combate 2. The Brazilian posted on his profile on Instagram a photograph of your weigh-in during training.

In the image, you can see that Belfort weighs 203,8 pounds, equivalent to 92,4 kg. With this weight, the athlete is eight kilos heavier than the permitted tolerance in the middleweight category, for which the fight is valid, which is 84,4 kg (or 186 pounds).

In addition to the image, Vitor published a comment. “Just take my weight off. Many thanks to my doctor Márcio Tannure and my wife Joana Prado, who cooks for me every day. Towards victory,” he wrote.
