Ultimate welterweight (up to 77kg) legend, Georges St-Pierre is not on the list of MMA representatives who reject Jake Paul as a fighter. “It’s a different sport. When I trained and was world champion, I boxed with great amateur boxers, who weren't elite, but were great. It's a completely different sport and, just to put it into perspective, if 'dirty boxing' were allowed in the sport, we would have a very different range of champions. Because it changes the rules and the game”, said Georges.

While recognizing that Tyron's experience can make a difference, St-Pierre remains firm in the opinion that the former UFC and youtuber can bring a great spectacle to the fans. The Canadian even stated that he will follow the confrontation.

“Woodley has more experience in combat sports than Jake Paul but it's a different game. It's interesting. As a fan, I will watch it, for sure”, he concluded.
