“I really wanted to face the Nate diaz. I wanted to see him do those antics of turning his back to me. I think it would be one of the biggest fights in the UFC,” said Pereira.
Although he doesn't hide his desire to face the North American, there is another 'bad boy' in the organization who doesn't attract Michel's attention. Unlike his admiration for Nate, the man from Pará is not excited about a confrontation against a former interim welterweight champion (under 77kg).
“I have no desire to fight against Colby covington. This 'goat' says more than he does. He’s not a great fighter,” he said.
