Floyd Mayweather says he was paid $100 million for 'fake fight' against Logan Paul

The boxer fought against the YouTuber for eight rounds, in an exhibition fight held in the United States

Floyd Mayweather showed, once again, that the nickname 'Money' (money, in free translation) is not for nothing. Three weeks after the fight against YouTuber Logan Paul, the boxer stated that he received around US$100 million (around R$490 million) for the duel. The American even called the confrontation a 'fake fight' to define the performance.

“I'm the only person who can do a 'fake fight' and get $100 million. I could do sparring legalized and get millions,” said Mayweather.

The confrontation, which had great repercussion in the world of contact sports, lasted eight rounds and there was no winner, as it was an exhibition fight.

The digital influencer landed good blows on his opponent, but not enough to cause considerable damage. Underdog, Logan ended the duel with a 'symbolic victory', as he managed to endure eight rounds against one of the biggest names in boxing history.
