In the second most important fight of PFL 6, Raush Manfio won the most important victory of his career. The Brazilian defeated Anthony Pettis in the unanimous decision of the judges and, now, he will face Clay Collard for a place in the lightweight final (up to 70,3kg) in search of the US$1 million prize (around R$5 million).

With the result, the 'War Horse' achieved its 13th triumph. Professional since 2011, the Brazilian has a record of 13 victories and three setbacks in his career.
On the other hand, the former Ultimate champion, Anthony Pettis, leaves the tournament without winning. He was defeated by Clay Collard in his first fight and was defeated again against Manfio. In total, he has a history of 24 positive results and 12 negative results.
THE FIGHT
Willing not to let Anthony Pettis enjoy combat, Raush Manfio he cornered the North American to make his first big impression. The Brazilian connected with the waist on three occasions and continued to corner his opponent throughout the first round, without allowing his opponent any space to strike him.
The situation in the second round was the same. Manfio kicked the base and tried to inhibit Pettis' movement. Likewise, the Brazilian followed his strategy and managed to connect small combinations. He hit his opponent's genitals on two occasions, but his score was not reduced.
In the third and final round, Raush connected with a straight shot that made Anthony fall. He went up, landed another knee, but saw the North American recover and resist until the end of the round.

Heavyweight representatives (up to 120,2kg.), Denis Goltsov and Brandon Sayles starred in the first fight on the main card. In domain in ground and pound, the Russian managed to punish the North American in the third round until the referee stopped it.
At 30 years old, Goltsov is qualified for the semi-finals of playoffs of the heavy ones. The Russian now added four more points and reached his 27th victory and six defeats in his career. In the next phase, he faces the Croatian Before Delija.
Salyes, 40, did not repeat his good performance when he finished Mohammed Usman in his first duel. With the defeat, the North American is eliminated from the tournament.
