Belfort says Woodley and Askren are the 'worst representation of MMA' to venture into boxing

The 'Phenomenon' also re-debuts in the 'noble art' and faces YouTuber Mike Holston on August 14th

After having his boxing match against youtuber Mike Holston postponed until August 14th, Vitor belfort he did not mince words when criticizing other MMA fighters who announced their migration to boxing. In an interview with 'MMA fighting', the Brazilian criticized Tyron woodley and Ben Askren, who, according to him, are the 'worst representation' in the 'noble art'.

“I just think they are the worst representation of MMA. I can fight them all in one night. I'm going to put them out (of boxing). These MMA athletes who are representing us in boxing won't last two rounds with me”, said the 'Phenomenon'.

The migration of MMA fighters to boxing seems to be here to stay. Former ONE Championship champion with stints in Ultimate, Ben Askren ended up being knocked out by Jake Paul in the second round. Not satisfied, the YouTuber now faces Tyron woodley, who already held the welterweight title (up to 77kg.) of the company chaired by Dana White, in a fight scheduled to take place on August 28th.

Belfort has his opponent announced for his return to the sport. The Brazilian will fight against YouTuber Mike Holston, in a meeting promoted by 'Thriller Fight Club' and scheduled to take place on August 14th.
