The American Ben Askren, Bellator welterweight champion, was not happy with the performance of Georges St Pierre against Nick Diaz at UFC 158, a fight that guaranteed yet another defense of the division's belt for the Canadian, and used the Twitter to speak out about the fight.

“Have you seen the 'dark side' of GSP? Or is he saving it for rounds 4 and 5? I saw the best things happen at the youth tournament wrestling!” said Ben, undefeated to date in his career of eleven fights.

In addition to the criticism, Ben Askren also showed confidence in a hypothetical fight against St. Pierre and defined what he believes to be the ideal way to beat the Ultimate champion. “After today I'm 100% sure I could beat St. Pierre... GSP is no longer a striker aggressive. He won't catch me wrestling or in grappling. He gets tired. It’s that simple,” he declared.

Last Saturday (16), Georges St Pierre won Nick Diaz by unanimous decision of the judges, a triple 50-45, and retained the UFC welterweight category belt. The Canadian has held the division title since 2007.
