Considered, by many, as one of the greatest fighters in the history of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg.), alistair overeem is back to kickboxing. After being fired from Ultimate, the Dutchman signed a multi-fight contract with GLORY and is expected to return to the ring later this year. The information was initially released by 'ESPN' North-American.

"He guesses? I'm back!” Overeem announced in a statement on social media.
Considered one of the greatest kickboxers in the world, Overeem competed in K-1 and faced great legends of the sport, such as Peter Aerts and Gokhan Saki. In 2010, he managed to win the Grand Prix title by defeating three competitors on the same night.
Furthermore, the Dutchman gained notoriety after being champion of DREAM and Strikeforce, as well as real 'wars' in PRIDE. Even though he didn't win the title in Ultimate, the 'giant' also achieved a good journey, always being recognized as one of the most feared in the organization. In MMA, he had a record of 47 wins, 19 losses and one unsuccessful fight.
