Considered by many to be one of the greatest boxers in history, Floyd Mayweather may have stepped into the ring for the last time in a fight against Logan Paul last Sunday (6). O 'Money', who competed eight rounds against YouTuber, spoke again about his retirement from the sport and says he is pessimistic about new exhibitions in the 'noble art'.

“I retired from boxing. I already said: It's not easy, not even for this fight. Training one day and then taking a few days off due to age and wear and tear at the beginning of my career. No punches to the head or anything, but just boxing and just the sporting period is really hard on the body. As for me returning to the sport of boxing (professionally), absolutely not. As for me doing an exhibition (fight) again, probably not,” said Mayweather in a post-event press conference.

Contrary to what many thought, Floyd was unable to knock out Logan in the exhibition fight. The athlete, however, admits that he expected his opponent to be 'easier' and says that he felt the weight of age, in addition to considering that he did not perform as well as before.

“Of course, at my age, I’m not going to perform like I did when I was 19. Will my hair stay all black forever? Of course not, it will be all gray. I get it. It's part of life. (…), but he did a good job. It's better than I imagined”, concluded the 'Money'.

At age 44, Floyd Mayweather officially retired from professional boxing in 2017, when he defeated former Ultimate champion, Conor McGregor. Since then, he has competed twice in exhibition matches, against Tenshin Nasukawa and now Logan Paul. In his career, 'Money' had an undefeated record in the 'noble art', with 50 victories.
