The announcement of boxing fight between youtuber, Jake Paul, and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, moved the world of martial arts earlier this week. Before making the duel against the veteran official, however, the digital influencer's plans seemed to be different. According to Michael Bisping, the internet phenomenon's team approached him and offered around US$500 (around R$2,5 million) for a duel. The proposal was refused.

“I’m happy for him (Woodley). I don't know how much he will receive, but I'll tell you now: I was offered US$500 to fight Jake Paul, so I assume it will be more (the amount offered to Tyron), since the confrontation will happen. Good for him. He should go out there and win $1 million and I couldn't be happier because he deserves it,” Bisping said on his podcast 'Belive You Me'.
True sensation in YouTube American, with more than 20 million subscribers, Jake has gained more and more spotlight in the world of boxing. Undefeated in three fights, the young man has been challenging MMA names and was successful in his last fight, when he ran over Ben Askren in the first round.
With no interest in the clash, Bisping chose to remain in retirement. Former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), the North American has not competed professionally since 2017, when he was surpassed by Kelvin Gastelum.
Willing to close the 'hyping' over the youtuber, Woodley challenged Jake shortly after the influencer's brutal knockout of his friend, Askren. Former welterweight leader (up to 77kg), the veteran got the superfight after not renewing with UFC, having completed four fights without victories.
