Rob font just won cody garbrandt in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 27, but he is already thinking about his next move. Riding on four consecutive victories, the North American says he wants to face the former champion Petr yan for the interim division title.

“Best possible scenario? They (Ultimate) have now Petr yan free. Maybe (the fight) could be worth the interim belt, but I doubt it will happen. We'll see what's going on, but give me Petr yan. He's the only one available. Fans want to see exciting fights and I know it's an exciting fight. And then I take care of the belt for him”, said Font in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.
Title holder, aljamain sterling suffered a neck injury and has no plans to return to action. He should take revenge against Petr yan, but it may remain inactive for a while longer. Like this, Rob font says he may have the much-desired chance against the Russian.
“I definitely don’t want to wait too long (to get back into action). But you never know what will happen. (…), I know I don’t want to fight with athletes behind (in the rankings). I will be patient. I waited for a year and I know what it's like. There’s no need to fight anyone who’s behind me now,” concluded the American.
Third in the ranking of roosters (up to 62,1kg.), Rob font lives his best moment in Ultimate. Currently, there are four consecutive victories, the last two against Marlon moraes e cody garbrandt. In his career, he has 19 triumphs and four setbacks.
